The world of video games is ever increasing, with news on new games, expansions, and gaming hardware surfacing on the internet almost every day. And since everyone cant be online at all times, looking at everything that is being announced, we thought we should do something about it. So, to help bring the news to everyone, we are going to be updating the world about what all is happening in the gaming industry. Think of it as a recap.

So, let’s begin!

Call of Duty Vanguard Gets Hacked

Call of Duty Warzone is notorious for having too many hackers. Many people started leaving the game because of the hacking problem. Activision started teasing their new anti-cheat system that would be coming to Warzone with their newest title, Vanguard.

Call of Duty Vanguard was heavily advertised as having one of the best anti-cheat systems. Activision was certain that this cheating problem would leave Warzone for good. However, once PC players got access to the beta for Call of Duty Vanguard, this marketing backfired. The beta for PC players went live on Saturday and videos of players using Hacks came out that very evening.

The first playtest for Halo Infinite went live on the 29th of July 2021. This playtest session allowed a select few players to have an early look at the game. The playtest was available for only PC players and lasted till the 2nd of August, 2021. The playtest revealed several issues with the game, the most major of which were the low FPS and high latency. Players reported a bad experience due to these issues.

The second playtest went live on the 23rd of September, 2021. This will end on the 26th of September, however, the third playtest will soon be live again on the 30th of September. For the second playtest, players are most concerned about performance fixes because it almost made the game playable when observed in the first flight. This second flight is available on PC and Xbox and will offer matchmaking in specific windows of time.

Diablo II: Resurrected

Diablo II was released back on the 29th of June, 2000, for Microsoft Windows. The game was of the action role-playing genre and had a dark, fantasy, and horror theme to it. The initial reception of the game was very positive and it got a score of over 8 out of 10 in almost all popular gaming metrics.

After 21 years, the remastered version of Diablo II just got announced and, it was released this week, on the 23rd of September. The game is available on the PlayStation 4 and 5, PC, and Xbox One plus Series X/S. This remaster is called Diablo II: Resurrected.

CS:GO - Operation Riptide

The latest DLC for CS: GO just launched on the 21st of September this year and regardless of whether you buy it or not, there are several changes that are coming to CS: GO. However, if you do buy the operation pass, sixteen weeks of exclusive missions will be available to you.

The change coming to the game with this update that has generated the most fuss is the rework of the iconic Dust 2 map. The double doors on Dust 2 are famous for giving the Terrorists some of the most awesome early kills at the beginning of the round. An attacker could easily block the Counter-Terrorists from going to the B bombsite while simply staying at the spawn with an AWP. Now however this is not the case, as with this update Attackers no longer have a clear line of sight at the double doors.

Conclusion

That is it for this week but stay tuned as we are going to be bringing you more information on whatever is happening in the world of video games next week. Until then, let us know on any of our social media platforms, what you think of all of this. Do you think this week’s news has been exciting?
