The world of video games is ever increasing, with news on new games, expansions, and gaming hardware surfacing on the internet almost every day. And since everyone cant be online at all times, looking at everything that is being announced, we thought we should do something about it. So, to help bring the news to everyone, we are going to be updating the world about what all is happening in the gaming industry. Think of it as a recap.
So, let’s begin!
FIFA 22 – Latest FIFA Game Launched
The next installment for the FIFA series is here. FIFA 22 just launched on the 1st of October, 2021 and, it seems that the series is heading in the right direction with this game. FIFA fans will probably notice a major mechanical change and a change in the realism of the character movements with FIFA 22.
In FIFA 22, you can now easily switch to a specific defender. All you have to do is press both the thumbsticks and, the switch will take place. The movements of all the players in the game also look much more realistic. This is all thanks to the HyperMotion technology that the developers have implemented for rendering the movements of in-game characters. This technology captures the real-time motion of 22 players playing a match in different conditions. This data is then fed into a machine-learning algorithm that helps create incredibly realistic in-game character movements.
New World – MMO RPG Developed by Amazon Games Launched
The game that will most likely change the perception about Amazon as a game development studio has launched and, it's a big hit. The MMO RPG developed by Amazon Games Orange County just launched on the 28th of September, 2021, and tons of players are getting into this game.
Amazon Games is not known for releasing good games. Most of the games that Amazon launched became victims of poor reception and soon got removed from sale. While other titles under development by Amazon were simply scraped before they even got a chance to get released. New World, however, aims to change this perceived image about Amazon Games with its successful launch. New World has already started to dominate the steam charts and, it seems that its popularity will not get suppressed any time soon.
Battlefield 2042 – Open Beta Anounced
Battlefield fans are desperately waiting for the next Battlefield game. The trailer for Battlefield 2042 Open Beta got released on Battlefield's official YouTube channel on the 28th of September, 2021. The reveal trailer shows tons of gameplay footage and confirms that the open beta for Battlefield 2042 will be available on the 8th of October 2021.
The reveal trailer for the Battlefield 2042 Open Beta generated tons of excitement for Battlefield fans. However, for some of us, it relieved a lot of our worries about the game. Some of us were a bit worried about the state of Battlefield 2042, judging by recent events surrounding the game and the failed launch of the previous Battlefield title, Battlefield 5.
A few weeks back, some gameplay footage for Battlefield 2042 got leaked. This gameplay footage presented a game that looked severely unpolished and straight-up unfinished. Bundling this with the launch delay that DICE announced, fans started speculating that the launch for Battlefield 2042 might also be a disaster, just like Battlefield 5. Tons of buzz was coming up on the internet claiming that Battlefield 2042 got delayed because the current state of the game is severely incomplete. However, with this trailer, all speculations have been cleared and, it is apparent that Battlefield 2042 is certainly not in an unfinished state.
