Talon Esports to Enter the Dota 2 Pro Scene

Since its beginning, Talon Esports has been making its way amongst the top eSports teams, after making several achievements in the field of eSports. Talon Esports is best known for its performances in League of Legends and Arena of Valor. The next MOBA for them to conquer is Dota 2, and it seems they have big plans for it.

The Rise of Talon Esports

Talon was established back in 2017, and it has come a long way since then. They entered the pro scene with Overwatch and later made their way into League of Legends and other big titles. Currently, a total of six professional eSports teams in five different markets are operating under Talon.

Over the years, Talon has secured several wins. In 2019, Talon ESports got a chance to be a part of ten teams that would be participating in the Pacific Championship Series, which was a newly created tournament series at that time. Talon Esports won their first PCS after winning the finals against Machi Esports. Currently, Talon Esports has over 30 tournament wins under their belts.

Talon Enters Dota 2

On the 16th of November, 2021, they officially announced their entrance into the Dota 2 pro scene. After their success in other MOBA games, this only seemed like the most obvious path forward.

The Talon Esports team for Dota 2 will be based in the Philippines, with the roster including several international players. The roster will consist of a total of 5 players namely Fly (Israel/Canada), Hyde (Indonesia), Gabbi (Philippines), Mikoto (Indonesia), and kapii (Australia).

As said by the CEO of Talon, Dota 2 has been a game they have sought after for a long time, and it seems that it is finally theirs to conquer in 2021. They also hope to bring their fans along with them on this journey, with a talented team of content creators and social media staff. It will be interesting to see how this plays out for Talon Esports.
