The confirmation was made through an official post on "The Sudden Stop". It was also revealed by an official trailer that the remastered version will be coming for the PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X/S, and Microsoft Windows

Battlefield 2042 Open Beta – Mixed Reviews
The open beta for Battlefield 2042 is finally here. Battlefield fans and gamers, in general, are all very excited about this game and, it is safe to say that Battlefield 2042 is one of the most anticipated games for this year.
Most fears of Battlefield fans are now gone with this open beta release. Players are now finally able to see that the game is actually fun to play. However, there are still some issues that players complaining about. The most notable of these issues is the performance drops even after having high-end expensive gaming systems.
The lead community manager at EA, Freeman, has confirmed that the open beta is an old build of the game. He posted on his Twitter saying that the open beta build for Battlefield 2042 is actually a few months old and, they are polishing and enhancing it to make it more enjoyable. This is probably a relief as we can expect all the performance issues and bugs to be almost nonexistent when the game officially launches.
Players, however, are also complaining about gameplay elements that they do not like. These gameplay elements are part of the game and most likely will not be changed. One example is the amount of ammo you get at spawn. The ammo is not a lot in your primary mag. If you need more ammo you will have to switch to another mag with a different ammo type with the new plus system. Also, no one is choosing to equip the ammo bag because the specialist abilities are much more fun.
