How to Show FPS in CS:GO

To show the FPS on the screen while playing CS:GO, you need to type some characters and letters in the console command. If you are new to CS: GO, you probably are not familiar with the console command. A console command is a tool used by PC gamers for debugging. We recommend that you don't play around with this tool to avoid any potential errors.

Firstly go to the in-game settings of CS:GO and click on the "Game" tab and make sure that the "Enable Developer Console (~)" option is set to yes. To open the console command, type the "~" key located on the upper left corner of the keyboard right below the "Esc" or escape key. If you are applying these steps as you read, you will probably see a window pop up that shows tons of gibberish. Don't worry, we won't tell you to learn to code just to show the FPS. All you need to do is type "cl_showfps 1" and press "enter" to apply this command. You will now see an FPS counter in the upper left section of your screen. Yup, it's that simple.

Another command that you can type to show the FPS and even more information, like live ping, is "net_graph 1". As you apply this command, the game will start displaying a bunch of information on the lower-left corner of your screen, including the FPS and ping. If you want the FPS and other information to disappear, type in the same command that you did for showing the information, and replace "1" with "0".
