Dota 2 DPC Season 2021 Update
Ever since The International 10 ended, we have seen been a number of changes taking place during the all-new Dota 2 DPC Season 2021 including roster revamps, new signings and even some amazing tournament wins. So, if you haven’t been that active with all that is taking place, don’t worry. We have you covered. Here is a recap of what all has happened till now.
Yamich Joins Virtus.pro
Virtus.pro just got their Dota 2 Roster completed with the addition of Yamich, who previously played for the Winstrike eSports team. According to the CEO of Virtus.pro, Yamich showed consistent signs of progress during his years in competitive Dota 2, which is the reason why he is added to the team.
At first, Yamich had to play a few test games to prove his potential. In these test games, he showed that he was more than capable of helping the team to reach never before seen heights. It will be interesting to see how he performs in the DPC Season 2021/22.
We Might Not See N0tail for At least A Year
ESports is a type of sport that taxes the players in a much different way than traditional sports. This is why it is not at all uncommon to see professional players taking a break from eSports. This time the player that we have to watch going away for a while is the heart of OG eSports, N0tail. It seems that we may not see him play competitive Dota 2 for no less than a year.
OG Signed a Completely New Dota 2 Roster
With Ceb retiring from competitive Dota 2 and both Topson and N0tail leaving the active Dota 2 roster to go on extended breaks, OG has decided to head into an entirely new direction with their Dota 2 roster. OG has signed five new players under the leadership of Misha. Misha acted as the team's coach during TI10. Yuragi, bzm, ATF, and Taiga make up the remaining roster.
OG managed to build one of the biggest names in the competitive Dota 2 scene with major accomplishments including being the first team ever in history to win two consecutive Internationals. With the recent overhaul in their Dota 2 roster, we are super excited to see what they have in store for us.
Fnatic All Set For DPC Season 2021 with Two New Entrants to Their Dota 2 Roster
After making us wait for several weeks, one of the most popular eSports teams for competitive Dota 2, Fnatic, has finally confirmed their roster for the Dota 2 DPC Season 21/22. It seems that we will be seeing two new Filipino pros playing for Fnatic this time around, namely Armel and Jaunuel.
While he has a rather shallow hero pool, as compared to other professional Dota 2 players, there is no doubt that Armel is a more than capable player. However, Jaunuel will be competing at the multinational level for the first time. Unfortunately, we will have to wait and see them perform in the DPC Season 2021/22 to get a better idea of whether they will synergize with the team.

Talon ESports Entering Competitive Dota 2 with Fly, Gabbi, kpii, Hyde, and Mikoto
With the insanely fast-growing scene of competitive Dota 2, new teams are popping left and right. One of these teams is Talon eSports. However, they are not just any other team to enter the competitive Dota 2 scene. Talon eSports has a keen eye for talent, which has allowed them to acquire players that led them to gain tons of success in the MOBA genre, including several championships for games like League of Legends and Arena of Valor. Their roster for Dota includes Fly, Hyde, Gabbi, Mikoto, and kpii.
After Playing for Team Secret, Zai is Now A Part of Team Liquid
It didn't take long for Team Liquid to sign Zai for their competitive Dota 2 roster after he became available. Just a few hours after Zai left Team Secret, he was welcomed to Team Liquid. Does this mean that Zai is a highly desirable player for competitive Dota 2? We will have to see him perform in the DPC Season 2021/22 to answer this question.
Xtreme Gaming Wins the DPC CN 2021/22 Tour 1: Division II
Xtreme Gaming has officially won the DPC CN 2021/22 Tour 1: Division II, acquiring a total of 5 flawless victories out of the 7 matches played. However, what is extremely interesting is that Xtreme Gaming won flawlessly against the runner-up team, MagMa but lost against the worst performing team CDEC gaming. We don't know about you, but this unpredictability is exactly what gets us most excited about Dota 2.
The Chicken Fighters in the Lead with Zero Matches Lost
For the DPC WEU 2021/22 Tour 1: Division II, the Chicken Fighters are currently in the lead with a total of zero matches lost out of the four they competed in. They still have one match to go and it seems that it won't be a problem for them. Chicken Fighters are up against NBH (No Bounty Hunter), which is the worst-performing team in this division with a total of zero victories.
That is it for now but stay tuned as we are going to be updating the blog with more news as it comes by. Until then, let us know what you think of the current DPC 2021 Dota 2 season on any one of our socials, mentioned down below.
