Valorant Patch 6.06 Nerfs Gekko’s Wingman and Mosh Pit
Just a few week ago, we were introduced to Valorant’s newest agent, Gekko. However, that hasn’t stopped Riot Games from making changes to him as the community has had quite the mixed reviews regarding his abilities. Well, with the game’s most recent Patch 6.06, the all-new initiator has received a couple of nerfs, alongside a few other changes, noticeably to the game’s most recent map, Lotus.
Before the patch, the main reason why Gekko was considered to be quite overpowered was due to his Wingman ability that allowed him to both, defuse and plant the bomb. Well, that ability has now been nerfed. According to the patch notes, Wingman will now always die if he is the last alive, which is quite the major change for the new agent.
Furthermore, Gekko’s Most Pit ability has also been nerfed. Previously the ability dealt 2.5x damage to objects in the game which was significant enough to destroy most if not all of the objects in the game. However, now, it’s been reduced to 1x damage.
