Battlefield 2042 Update 1.04

The update is named Update #2 and covers a game-related changed, bug fixes and weapon balances as well. A few of the important ones are as follows.

·         Player stuck and revive issues have been fixed.

·         Reduced splash damage of MD540 Nightbird Mounted 20mm Cannons

·         Reduced damage radius and splash damage of AH-64GX Apache Warchief

·         Reduced overall damage of KA-520 Super Hokum 30mm Cannon

New World EU Server Roll Back

Amazon Games have rolled back the entire Central EU Server after an accident that caused a lot of players to receive 300,000 in-game gold.

After a lengthy maintenance period, the roll back was announced which sent the server back a few hours before the gold was sent.

The developer made the following statement in a forum post in this regard.

"After our patch early this morning, a separate database modification in EU was executed to grant catch up funds for players affected by in-game tax losses since the November feature release. This database change mistakenly granted very large sums not reflective of the intended amounts."

Valve under fire for competitive team registration rules

Dota 2 is among the top competitive games in the world right now. The amount of viewership and player base is greatly due to Valve’s constant support of the game while maintaining a stable competitive and professional field for the game. The rules however are sometimes greatly criticized by the community and pro players alike which leads to outcries and frustration almost every year.

Dota 2’s Pro Circuit or DPC started the new season 2021-22 after Valve released a long information page on the official Dota 2 website. While it covers almost everything the season has to offer, it also includes a few rules about the season itself and team ownership.

This, however, has been the point of debate among pro players since the current rule contains some loopholes and possibilities of team highjacking, hostage, or spot selling situations.

Things like this have been an ugly past within the competitive Dota 2 scene as notable professional players such as Jacky "EternaLEnVy" Mao, Danil "Dendi" Ishutin fell prey to these situations details of which a just too long and technical to discuss. Although this happened in the last DPC Season, players were hoping the new season would have some ways to resolve such loopholes which, however, isn’t the case.

Fans and players aren’t currently questioning these rules on different forums. And while many seem to turn a blind eye towards it, some are trying to highlight it in hopes of getting it solved for the upcoming season.
