League of Legends 2025 - The details on the champions’ performance in the first week of Swiss Stage
Note: These stats include the T1 vs IG BO5 match-up for Play-Ins as well as the first week of Swiss Stage.
Another Note: Wins and Losses depend so much on team comp, synergies, counter-picks, which champ you’re good at, the moon, if your teammate is chewing gum beside you, the vibe, etc. But you will notice some serious trends.
Jarvan IV
Seriously, J4 is supposed to be an amazing Jungle champion, but he has a dismal win rate. 11 Games with 9! Losses and only 2 Wins. Even Oner couldn’t win on J4 against IG. The lucky 2 pros that won on J4: Karsa with PSG and Upset on FNC. He is not heavily banned - honestly, just let the other team pick him!
Kai’Sa
Kai’Sa is another Champion underperforming: 10 Games Played, 8 Losses, and only 2 Wins, and teams keep banning her! 12 Bans! She is supposed to be strong…but obviously it depends on the team comp. T1 picked her into GenG who had the Poppy. Boom goes the hammer and bye bye Kai’Sa!
Sion
Wow, talk about an automatic win with Sion! 13 games played with only 2 Losses and a wild 11 games won! The only champs who have beat Sion are Aatrox and Mordekaiser. Basically, if you don’t want to play Sion, ban him. And no, the K’Sante is not the answer to Sion.
K’Sante
Speaking of K’Sante, he keeps getting picked, but his Wins are very small for such a large champion. 13 games played with only 2 Wins and 11 Losses. He is also not getting banned, that’s smart. Also smart: STOP PICKING K’SANTE! Unless you’re Kiin.
Aatrox
And of course, Aatrox took a win off of Sion. Barely banned (1) and played only 1 time, but won.
Mordekaiser
Never banned, played 3 times but with only 1 notable victory: the game against Sion.
Corki
Crazy strong with 5 Wins and 2 Losses, oddly Corki has only been banned 2 times!
Oriana
This strong mid-laner has seen a ton of action on the ban and picked list. Banned 23! times. Picked 9 times with 7 Wins and only 2 Losses. Like Sion, if you don’t want to play her, you should probably ban her.
Poppy
What a beautiful big hammer she has! Used to great effect, Poppy has won 5 out of her 6 games played. She is also high in bans - 21! She has been very effective as a support and top champ. She can literally change a teamfight with the click of a button: a 5v5 turns into a 3v5 slaughter!
Qiyana
An aggressive Jungler, Qiyana has been getting lots of attention in the bans: 13. Her win rate is decent: 4 wins, 3 losses.
Azir
This mid-lane champ, one the most difficult and effective in the game, has been the most banned champ of the tournament: 28 Bans! His win rate is mediocre though: 2 Wins - 2 Losses. Dangerous only in the right hands?
Braum
Need a tank to protect your ADC? Braum is here! A great showing of 5 Wins and 2 Losses. However, not heavily banned: 8 in total.
Aurora
She is very powerful and is banned for a reason: 12 Bans, 6 Wins, 3 Losses.
Taliyah
Taliyah has that wall to split up the opponent to make them easy pickings. Banned only 6 times, she has a meh showing of 5 Wins and 7 Losses.
Caitlyn
We need to talk about Caitlyn. Popular with ADCs for her damage and range, she comes out even with 4 Wins and 4 Losses and only 8 Bans.
Wukong
If you can get your hands on this Jungler, which is difficult with his 12 Bans, do it. He is showing power. 7 Wins and 3 Losses is proof.
Xin Zhao
Speaking of powerful Junglers: Xin Zhao is huge. Banned only 6 times, he comes in with a wild 11 Wins and 2 Losses. Odd that Wukong is getting banned more than him. Hmm….
Vi
While we are on Junglers, Vi has been unfortunately dismal: 2 Wins to her 7 losses with 11 Bans. Maybe just skip banning her and ban Xin Zhao or Wukong instead.
Trundle
Can’t leave this champion out. He is strong and underplayed IMO. 5 Wins and only 1 Loss. Yet Banned only 1 Time. Interesting.
Yunara
New to the Rift, she has been getting a lot of attention. Rightly so since her win rate is showing her power. 7 Wins to her 3 Losses. Bans sitting at 22. If you can play her, do it. And sit Braum in front of her so she can melt the enemy.
Aurora
Also looking powerful is Aurora. This adorable bunny eared champion is at 6 Wins and 3 Losses. Getting some decent bans: 12.
Bard
We all love a good Bard. IG didn’t let Keria touch his favorite champion in Play-Ins. FlyQuest didn’t ban Bard against T1 - on Keria’s birthday - and T1 destroyed FlyQuest. I bet Keria does not get to play Bard for the rest of the tournament. Bard has 4 Wins, 2 Losses, and 9 Bans.
Alistar
This Beefy Support champion has been seeing a lot of action. 13 games played, 6 Losses, and a strong 7 Wins. Banned only 8 times.
Neeko
This little trickster is barely allowed to play: 20 Bans! But when she is played, her win rate does not justify her ban rate: 3 Wins 5 Losses.
Ambessa
A strong top laner with dashes and damage, Ambessa has been banned 11 times with 4 Wins and 4 Losses.
LeBlanc
Banned only 4 times, and played only 3 times, this powerful tricky mid-laner has a 100% Win Rate: 3 games played, 3 games won!
Rek’Sai
Looking steady in the Top lane with 3 Wins and 3 Losses. Not banned much with only 2 Bans.
Nautilus
Yikes! Not looking good here: 4 Losses, 1 Win.
Pantheon
Also a poor showing: 5 Losses, 1 Win.
Rakkan
Avoid him too: 7 Losses, 2 Wins
Ezreal
Should be strong, but not looking good: 2 Wins 5 Losses.
Elise, Hwei, Jax, Kassidin, Kled, Maokai, Miss Fortune, Senna, Smolder, Swain, Sylas, Yorick, and Zed
All played only once or twice with very few or no bans at all, these champs all came out with losses and no wins.
Renekton
I hate playing against a good Renekton. He is so strong at 3 Wins and 1 Loss and only 3 Bans.
Aatrox, Anivia, Ashe, Draven, Jhin, Nami, Nocturne, Renata, Vayen, Viktor, and Zeri
Barely played (1-2times) these champs all came out with Wins.
Ornn
Love me a good Ornn bashing people around and upgrading my items. He is looking fantastic with 3 Wins and only 1 Loss.
Rumble
Throwing fire everywhere, Rumble is popular: 4 Wins, 4 Losses, and 6 Bans.
