Genshin Impact Update 3.0 - All You Need to Know

The all-new Genshin Impact update is here, and players are flocking in to enjoy the game with everything new that has been added to the game. If you have not played Genshin Impact for a while now, then this is the time to hop back in because lots of new stuff has been added.

The Genshin Impact 3.0 update also includes several quality-of-life changes that will make the gaming experience a whole lot better. Here is our take on everything you need to know about the new Genshin Impact 3.0 update.

Sumeru - The Brand New Region

First, we will get to experience a brand new region, which is called Sumeru. This region is a great addition for players that are somewhat bored exploring all the existing zones and regions. Sumeru will help bring a breath of fresh air into the game, allowing players to spend tons more hours on exploration.

Several new places have been added to the Sumeru region. The new places coming to the game with the 3.0 update include Lokapala Jungle, Ashavan Realm, Ardravi Valley, Vissudha Field, Avidya Forest, and Vanarana.

Dendro - New Element

The next big change coming to Genshin Impact with the 3.0 update is the brand new element called Dendro. This new element brings tons of new types of attacks to the game with different types of effects on the enemies.

Dendro also brings new animations with a nice green color. The best part about this new element is that it can be combined with other element types to trigger some unique effects on enemies.

New Animals

Yup, that's right, with the Genshin Impact 3.0 update, new animals have been added to the game. There are a total of eight new animals, including Spinocrocodile, Dusk Bird, Rishboland Tiger, Shaggy Sumpter Beast, Forest Tree Frog, Red Tailed Lizard, Dendro Crystalfly, and Shroomboar.

All of these animals will have a different reaction to the player. They might be passive unless you attack them, or they might be aggressive. They also give you a different amount of meat when you kill them, which is mostly around two or three.

A Whopping List Of New Enemies

Along with the new animals that are added to the game, Genshin Impact also got tons of new enemies, 21 to be exact. These enemies include the Jadeplume Terrorshroom, Electro Regisvine, Floating Dendro Fungus, Whirling Electro Fungus, Whirling Cryo Fungus, Eremite Ravenbeak Halberdier, Eremite Sunfrost, Ruin Drake, Winged Dendrshroom, Stretchy Ameno Fungus, and more. We are super excited to see these enemies with their new character models and attack animations.

New Quests

There is amazing news for players who are looking for more content in Genshin Impact. Besides the Sumeru region to explore, players will also be able to complete all new quests that came to the game with the 3.0 update.

Firstly, there are two new Archon Quests, which include Chapter III: Act I "Through Mists of Smoke and Forests Dark" and Chapter III: Act II "The Morn a Thousand Roses Brings." You will need to complete Chapter II: Act IV "Requiem of the Echoing Depths" and a minimum Adventure Rank of 35 to be able to take part in these quests.

Secondly, a brand new Story Quest got added to the game, Tighnari - Vulpes Zerda Chapter: Act I "The Unanswerable Problems." To be able to take part in this quest, you will need at least a minimum Adventure Rank of 40. You will also need to complete the Archon Quest "The Morn a Thousand Roses Brings" to unlock this story quest.

If all that wasn't enough, you will also get to try out over 15 new World Quests. These Quests include The Price, Even BEsts Stumble, The Foolish Fatuus, The Path of Papers, While the Dream Lingers, and many more.

New Weapons

With the 3.0 update, we also got some new weapons. Two new weapons were added to the game, including Hunter's Path, a 5-Star Bow, and the End of the Line, a 4-Star Bow. Besides these two weapons, there are also five new Forgeable Weapons in the game now. These new weapons include the King's Squire (4-Star Bow), the Moonpiercer (4-Star Polearm), Sapwood Blade (4-Star Sword), the Fruit of Fulfillment (4-Star Catalyst), and, finally, the Forest Regalia (4-Star Claymore.
