According to the official site of MapleStory, its latest update entitled MapleStory Unleashed is set to go live on June 19. The update will add a lot of exciting new features to the game. This latest update is said to be one of the best updates MapleStory has received. It will add a lot of new and exciting features that every gamer will surely love.

Some of the changes that the Unleashed update will bring are the following:

- Increased level cap up to level 250

- Revamped User Interface

- Increased Max Damage, Max Mesos, and Max HP

- New high-level content and dungeons 

- Monsters and Boss updates

- and many more!

MapleStory is a 2D side-scrolling MMORPG (similar to Super Mario) developed by Wizet and published by Nexon. This deviates from the usual third-person-perspective of popular MMORPG such as World of Warcraft, SWTOR and the likes. In a press release, Cryptic Studios and Perfect World Entertainment officially announced the date of launch of the highly anticipated MMO Neverwinter. Neverwinter will conclude its Open Beta Testing (OBT) Phase and will officially go live this coming June 20. It was also noted that players who have joined the OBT Phase will be able to save and continue their progress onto the live servers.

Along with the announcement of the official launch date, it was also revealed that June 20 also marks the release date of the Gauntlgrym - a PVP and PVE endgame content add-on for players level 60 and above. The Gauntlgrym is basically a huge battleground where players fight for treasures in the ancient Dwarven City. Additionally, the first expansion for Neverwinter was also announced. The expansion which is labeled as the Fury of the Feywild module that follows the story of the Fomorian Giants that are trying to claim the Elven city of Sharandar. The Fury of the Feywild module is scheduled for release by the end of summer.

Neverwinter is an up and coming free-to-play MMO developed by Cryptic Studios. Neverwinter is based on the Dungeons and Dragons universe and provides a strong storyline for gamers to follow. The game also features the Foundry - a tool that allows players to create game content such as campaigns and quests. The game was first announced back in 2010 and was first shown to the public in 2011. Neverwinter was set for release in 2012 but it was moved to 2013 to improve and polish the game.

The latest expansion for the popular space shooter EVE Online finally went live. The 19th EVE expansion entitled Odyssey will give players new features and useful game improvements.  It will also add new and exciting game content for players to enjoy. These awesome changes will surely attract new players and entice old players to return and play again. The Odyssey Expansion will surely change the whole EVE Online experience.

Finally, Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is now available for pre-order. It was also revealed that the game is set to be released on August 27, 2013. Players can now start pre-ordering which will give them early access to the game as well as other neat stuff such as a Cait Sith Doll Minion and a Mog Cap.

Next month, we will also see the third phase of Beta testing for A Realm Reborn. In this phase, PS3 players will also be able to join the Beta Tests which will be the first time console players lay a hand on FFXIV.

When Final Fantasy XIV first came out way back in 2010, it received negative reviews from the gaming community. This can be attributed to the game's poor structure and content as well as numerous bugs and glitches that make the game almost unplayable. Last year, Square Enix decided to relaunch FFXIV and renamed it to FFXIV: A Realm Reborn. Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is a complete overhaul of FFXIV and it will also be the latest title in the Final Fantasy franchise. The game will be available for the PC as well as for the PS3. Hopefully, Square Enix gets everything right this time around.

In an issued statement, it has been revealed that popular MMO developer and publisher Trion Worlds had been hit by massive layoffs. Numerous reports stated that more than half of the company has been laid off with most coming from the Defiance development team in San Diego, California. The layoffs is said to be the result of the company's reorganization of teams to get better position in the MMO industry. Trion Worlds assured that its MMOs such as Rift and Defiance won't be affected by the layoffs.

Trion Worlds is a company that publishes and develops MMO games. It was founded in 2006 by Lars Buttler and Jon Van Canegham. Trion Worlds has produced well known MMORPGs such as Rift and Defiance, both of which have received favorable reviews from the gaming community. Earlier last year, Trion Worlds had received $85 million in funding. It seems that the year 2012 didn't turn out quite well as people from the Rift Development team of Trion Worlds were also laid off late last year.

Reports have revealed that the latest game update for Lord of the Rings Online (LotRO) just went live. The 11th update for LotRO titled, Treachery of the White Hand, adds a lot of new content to the game. These include new regions to explore, updates and more.

Treachery of the White Hand looks to continue the games storyline into the Eastern Rohan area of Wildermore. The story revolves around Nurzum, a stone giant controlled by Saruman that wreaks havoc to nearby towns and villages by creating a deadly and icy winter.

Some of the changes included in Update 11: Treachery of the White Hand are as follows: 

- Five new regions to explore: Writhendowns, The Fallows, Whitshaws, High Knolls, Balewood

- Improved mounted combat 

- Hobbit Presents every day for all players!

LotRO is a subscription based MMORPG developed by Turbine. It is based on the famous novels of J.R.R. Tolkien. LotRO was released on April 2007 and has since then receive positive reviews and numerous awards.
