Fans of Final Fantasy XI rejoice! After several years of waiting, FFXI's fifth expansion was finally announced. The latest expansion to the game is named the Seekers of Adoulin. It is set to launch next year though no specific dates were announced.
Final Fantasy XI is a fantasy based MMORPG puliblished by Square Enix way back in 2002. The game is part of the popular Final Fantasy franchise and the game was well received by the gaming community. A couple of days ago at VanaFest '12, a new expansion to the game, named Seekers of Adoulin, was announced. The Seekers of Adoulin is the fifth expansion of the game - the other four being Rise of the Zilart, Chains of Promathia, Treasures of Aht Urghan, and Wings if the Goddess.
The Seekers of Adoulin will feature lots of new and exciting features. Some of these include:
- New jobs: there are two new jobs revealed for the Seekers of Adoulin - the Geomancer and the Rune Fencer
- A new system where you can reclaim lands
- New Adoulin guilds
- New lands to discover
